What is hashish?

What is hashish? Hash, or hash, is essentially compressed grass (cannabis resin) with both a high density and a high concentration of active ingredients. Hash can contain both CBD (Cannabidiol) as well as the psychoactive substance THC, which is banned in Slovakia. Its biggest advantage, however, is that it is made up of above-standard amounts of sought-after nutrients such as relaxing terpenes or flavonoids. This is why it is often mixed with CBD flowers (cones) from the cannabis plant, creating a strong synergistic effect during vaporisation.

CBD hashish has similar effects to CBD oil (drops) or any other product containing the active ingredient CBD. However, they are both more noticeable and more intense, which is one of the reasons why it is sought after by seasoned users of cannabis products. The healthiest way to enjoy hash is with a compatible herbal vaporizer, as it does not produce a carcinogenic smoke, but an aerosol (vapor). However, there are also users who add hash to a CBD joint or to a regular tobacco cigarette. However, we definitely do not recommend such consumption methods as they are very unhealthy.

What is hashish? What is it used for?

What is hashish? Hash, also known as hash, is made by pressing carefully selected parts of cannabis flowers, which must contain the so-called trichomes - these are the small hairs on the cones that produce the aforementioned cannabis resin. The pressing process produces a solid, highly concentrated mass (hash) that contains high concentrations of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. This can then be smoked or vaporised as it is the final CBD product.

"Trichomes are the powerhouses that create the cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids that give cannabis its unique effects, aromas and flavours. Hash is made by separating these trichomes from cannabis buds and concentrating them into a potent extract. "ZeWeed

However, in the first case, carcinogenic smoke is to be expected during combustion, which has very negative effects on human health. It is therefore better to reach for an electric device called a vaporiser. Vaporisation has a number of significant advantages over smoking, especially in the long term. Vaping creates an aerosol, not smoke, that transports the active ingredients and nutrients from the hashish into the bloodstream of its user.

What is hashish with CBD used for? Hash is used both as a collector's item and as an input material for vaporizers. Some progressive countries, such as Switzerland, allow CBD flowers to be sold as a tobacco supplement, making them easy to get hold of on every corner. The USA is no exception, where vaporising CBD hashish is quite common. Certified dry herb vaporizers from the brand Storz & Bickel are even used by a Czech hospital in Brno, where some patients can vaporise cannabis on the premises.

Compressed hemp resin

As mentioned earlier, hashish is a compressed resin from cannabis trichomeswhich contains high levels of cannabinoids and other nutrients from the cannabis plant. It has both a thick, stiff consistency and a dark colour, which may have a tinge of green, brown or black. In fact, there are several species with slightly different characteristics. There is no hash like hash, which is something to be aware of when choosing a product. Some can be crumbled after a light squeeze, others need to be dispensed with a sharp object such as a knife.

What types of hash are there?

What types of hashish are there? Hash differs from one another according to how it is made, including what it is made from. This determines it's shape, colour and smell. There is both hand-rolled hash made from fresh resin and dry-screened hash, resin pitch (Rosin) or Bubble Hashor colloquially ice water.

  • Hand-Rolled Live Resin Hash
  • Dry Sift Hash
  • resin pitch (Rosin)
  • ice water (Bubble Hash)

As already mentioned, the different types and varieties of hashish differ from one another in consistency, colour, shape and smell. They may also differ in the level of concentration of active ingredients such as CBD. The same is not true of the starting material, as different varieties of cannabis mean different effects, different colours and different smells. Therefore, something different may suit everyone, so it's best to try from each type that is available.

How to smoke hashish with CBD? Taking

How to smoke hashish? CBD hash can be both smoked and vaped. However, vaporisation is the best solution, as it does not produce carcinogenic smoke, but a so-called aerosol (vapour), which is supposed to deliver the active substances to the human body. This is why herb vaporizers are considered a healthier alternative to smoking a joint or a cigarette, where a carefully shaped piece of hash can be inserted afterwards.

How does hashish use work? As already mentioned, the user can make use of a vaporizer that is adapted to vaporize the solid extract (resin) of cannabis. Vaporisation does not produce a strong odour as there is no combustion, but only heating of the hashish. As a result, the user does not inhale as many harmful substances as is the case with joints and cigarettes.

What are the effects of CBD hashish?

What are the effects of CBD hashish? This is the same as someone vaping stronger, nutrient-rich CBD flowers or dripping a stronger CBD oil with full-spectrum cannabinoids. The effects of hash are both more intense and more noticeable than most CBD products on store shelves, which is why they're compared to the stronger bits. This is one of the reasons why more experienced users seek it out. This is not a product that would be suitable for beginners.
